Volunteering Opportunities

The Sunday School Teacher is responsible for teaching biblical lessons to children or youth in a nurturing, engaging, and age-appropriate way. This role helps support the spiritual growth and development of students while fostering a safe and welcoming classroom environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and teach Bible-based lessons 
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere 
  • Engage students through activities, discussions, and prayer 
  • Manage classroom behavior with patience and care 
  • Communicate effectively with parents and church leadership 

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of the Bible and Christian teachings 
  • Ability to teach and connect with children or youth 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Dependability and commitment to regular attendance 
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners


The Nursery Volunteer provides a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for infants and toddlers during church services and events. This role supports young children’s basic needs while allowing parents to participate in worship with peace of mind.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and care for infants and toddlers in the nursery 
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment 
  • Engage children through age-appropriate play and interaction 
  • Follow check-in/check-out procedures and safety guidelines 
  • Assist with basic needs such as feeding, diapering (if required), and comforting 

Qualifications:

  • Enjoyment in working with young children 
  • Patient, gentle, and attentive demeanor 
  • Reliability and punctuality 
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols 
  • Willingness to work as part of a team


The Security Team Member helps maintain a safe and secure environment for all attendees during church services and events. This role involves monitoring the premises, assisting guests, and responding calmly to any safety concerns or emergencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas during services and events 
  • Greet attendees and provide a visible, welcoming presence 
  • Identify and report any suspicious or unsafe activity 
  • Assist in emergency situations following established procedures 
  • Communicate effectively with team members and church leadership 

Qualifications:

  • Strong awareness and attention to detail 
  • Ability to remain calm and act responsibly under pressure 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

The Audio Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining sound quality during church services and events. This role ensures that all audio elements—including microphones, instruments, and media—are clear, balanced, and free of technical issues to support a smooth worship experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor sound equipment during services and events 
  • Mix audio levels for vocals, instruments, and media playback 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical audio issues quickly 
  • Conduct sound checks and rehearsals with the worship team 
  • Maintain and organize audio equipment 

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of sound systems, mixers, and audio equipment 
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure 
  • Attention to detail and good listening skills 
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology


The Camera Technician is responsible for capturing high-quality video during church services and events. This role supports live streaming and media production by operating cameras and ensuring clear, engaging visual coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate cameras during services, events, and live streams 
  • Frame shots appropriately to capture speakers, worship team, and key moments 
  • Follow direction from the media or production leader 
  • Set up and maintain camera equipment before and after services 
  • Ensure smooth transitions and steady shots throughout the service 

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of camera operation and video framing 
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team 
  • Attention to detail and awareness of live production flow 
  • Reliability and punctuality 
  • Willingness to learn and improve technical skills


The Worship Singer leads the congregation in musical worship during services and events. This role involves preparing and performing vocal parts, collaborating with the worship team, and helping create an engaging and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support worship through singing during services and rehearsals 
  • Learn and practice assigned songs and harmonies 
  • Collaborate with musicians, worship leaders, and production team 
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude 
  • Engage the congregation and encourage participation 

Qualifications:

  • Strong vocal ability and musical awareness 
  • Ability to harmonize and follow musical direction 
  • Reliability and commitment to rehearsals and services 
  • Passion for worship and teamwork


 The Worship Musician supports the worship team by playing an instrument during services and events, helping create a meaningful and engaging worship environment. This role works closely with the worship leader and team to deliver cohesive and excellent musical worship.

Responsibilities:

  • Play an assigned instrument during rehearsals and services 
  • Learn and practice songs to be performed, including arrangements and transitions 
  • Follow the direction of the worship leader and adapt as needed during live worship 
  • Collaborate with vocalists and other musicians to maintain unity and timing 
  • Care for and maintain personal and church-provided instruments/equipment 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in at least one musical instrument (e.g., guitar, piano, drums, etc.) 
  • Ability to follow chord charts, sheet music, or musical cues 
  • Good sense of timing, rhythm, and teamwork 
  • Reliability and commitment to rehearsals and services 
  • Passion for worship and a cooperative attitude
